Happy Now Happy Always: June 2014

its been, well, a while since my last post. whoops. life happens :)

Charlie is now 17 months old! its crazy how big she is getting!
she is talking so much now!
she absolutely loves to play outside. especially if she gets to jump on the trampoline! we need to get a net for ours because she jumps and runs like a mad woman and trys to fall off.
a month or so ago i took the gate at the top of our stairs down because Charlie had mastered them. i was letting her practice them and she kept shutting it and locking herself on the staircase so i just took it down and haven't put it back up. i gotta say i love not having it up.
Charlie has also learned how to get out of the house. not so much of a great thing. we have one of those door handles that you just pull down on and you can open it. once she gets threw that door our screen door doesn't latch so she just pushes it open and lets the dog in and out of the house and if you let her spend long enough messing with it she'll just leave.
She is learning all the time and is so smart its crazy! she knows how to put her own shirt, pants, and shoes on. when i say she knows how i mean she helps you do it she can't do it on her own yet.
Probably the best thing that's happening with my little one is that she is dealing with people much better. she still cries when mom and dad leave or when some people come over because she thinks they are going to take her but not nearly as much as she used to! i love knowing i can let someone babysit her and she's not going to cry the entire time. that didn't use to be the case.
Charlie has an obsession with hercules. the disney version. its the only movie we can turn on and have her sit and watch the whole thing. she sits until about the last 30 minutes then she wants to move around but still has her eyes on the tv :) i just bought her the dvd so when it gets taken off netflix she can still watch it
so much more has happened but my mind is blank at the moment :)
