31 days of Charlie

Sorry if this sounds weird I wrote them every night lol

1/29: Charlie decided to try and take a nap while mommy was holding her in the shower.

1/30: tonight Charlie cuddled up to her uncle Matt to have a chat when she got sleepy :)

1/31: she must have a sixth sense or something. This kid can find things she should have any clue are there. At great grandma and grandpa wards she wanted  a doll, so she walked over to a box that you couldn't see a doll in when just looking at ta-da she got a doll

2/1: Charlie had a friend over today. Needless to say neither of them are very good at sharing 

2/2: we played monkey in the middle with a big ball tonight. Charlie thought it was the funniest thing ever, then she got bored and would just start growling or coughing at you to make you copy her; then she would laugh and laugh :))

2/3: today we like to dance and eat onions :) it's an interesting combination

2/4: we wrestled we daddy while mommy took a nap :) then when bedtime came tried to lick all of the coconut oil off that mommy was trying to put on me

2/5: today we refused to stay awake on the way to cafe sabor for dinner, no matter what mommy or daddy did

2/6: today we tickled. Mommy tickled Charlie and every time she would stop Charlie would say "tickle tickle tickle tickle" while pulling moms hand back. She loves to get tickled

2/7: today Charlie's pjs were the enemy. Everytime she tried to walk in the kitchen or bathroom she'd go down

2/8: Charlie rode on her four wheeler today. She loves to climb on and off of it all day long :) sometimes you'll look up and she's just sitting there on it, content :) 

2/9: tonight Charlie decided she was going to fight sleep for all she's worth. We tried putting her in the crib, that didn't work, so we tried putting her in bed with mommy. Pretty sure mommy is gonna have some bruses on her face from that. Charlie was beating mommy to get out if bed and stay awake.

2/10: we went shopping with grandma today. Charlie played in mcdonalds while we are and kept climbing into the playground! She was so mad she couldn't go in and play with her friend because mommy didn't want to have to go in and get her out.

2/11: Charlie broke mommys iphone today. She pulled it off the table and the screen came out :/ still works but gotta get it fixed.

2/12: we played in the snow today while daddy was making a trade on some tires. Charlie us getting pretty good at walking in it

2/13: Charlie's friend kayden came and played today. He was riding her four wheeler around the living room and she was chasing him giggling like mad :)

2/14: valentines day! Today Charlie have daddy hugs and kisses 

She also tried chocolate covered strawberries for the first time. She loved them 

2/15: Charlie played outside today. She loves being outside no matter how cold her fingers get she doesn't want to come in the house 

2/16: Charlie has become a dance master. Anytime any music comes on (unless she's really mad) she starts dancing. It's incredibly cute

2/17: cuddle bug today :) fell asleep watching a movie with mommy and daddy

2/18: Charlie finally said mom today! She's said everything else but wouldn't say mom. Today she dropped her boot and says "mom uh oh"

2/19: mom was making fruit leather (basically fruit roll ups) today and Charlie thought she needed in on it. If mom wasn't holding her she was super pissed off

2/20: Charlie slept in her own room, by herself, in a big girl bed! She didn't even get up once! Mom got up a bunch of times to check on her though 

2/21: super cuddly today again but not just with mom this time chewy (our dog) let her hug him a bunch today :)

2/22: worst kid to take in a store today award went to Charlie. She wanted outta the cart then she wanted to run away if u stopped her she'd through herself on the ground. No matter if she was in the canary, ur arms, or walking , she would throw a fit when she didn't get what she wanted

2/23: today miss Charlie tipped over a drink and threw pizza on aunt Jamie and uncle matts brand new carpet, as in it was still being installed when she did it

2/24: mommy put Charlie in bed and she either had to knock on the wall or hang her head off the side, there was no laying in bed right

2/25: we have one sweaty baby. Cuddling with daddy tonight Charlie basically soaked herself. No wonder she likes it cold when she gets hot she pores sweat

2/26: my dad came over today and Charlie was actually willing to play with him without any coaxing! She just walked up to him when he came inside and let him pick her up

2/27: Morgan was sleeping on grandmas couch and Charlie decided that was wasn't cool and tried to pull her off

2/28: today we went to the park for the first time this year. Charlie didn't wanna get off the slide

1 year & Christmas!

This past month (plus some) has been super busy
Charlie finally turned 1!! I don't know how it happened so fast. this year just seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye!

Charlies first Christmas was so fun. she loved opening her presents. she would open one and get distracted by it and we would have to take it away so she would open another one.

In the last month she has also mastered walking! I am so excited about her walking, she's just so cute when she does it. She has almost mastered running too. She thinks its awesome how fast she can get from place to place and how fast she can get into things before mommy has a chance to stop her!

we took her bottle away this last month too. its been an experience. she thinks we're evil for it. we still give it to her at night because we moved her into her own room instead of sleeping in ours and i didn't want to traumatize her by doing both at once.

at her doctors appointment last week she weighed 19 pounds 2 ounces! and is 29 inches tall! she so big!

today, i made a bad mommy move. Charlie was suppose to be napping so i didn't shut the gate at the top of our stairs because i was going up and down them a lot. when she decided a nap wasn't going to happen and i let her loose i forgot about the gate and she fell down the stairs and hit her head on the tile at the bottom. :( she has a big goose egg but otherwise seems ok.
